Edebé Audiovisual Licensing is a division of Grupo Edebé, one of the main publishing groups in Spain and Latin America, which was founded in 1888.
Our division was born in 2005 devoted to the production, distribution and development of audiovisual works for children and young people. Despite its short history, Edebé Audiovisual has already succeeded in producing an animation series (‘Edebits’), co-producing a feature film (‘Pet Pals and Marco Polo’s Code) and is currently adapting the young bookseries ‘Four And A Half Friends’ into TV series.
In addition to the distribution of our own productions, we also pick up third-party properties which complement our catalogue and share our editorial line to distribute them worldwide. The animation series whose rights we are currently representing include ‘4 Angies’, ‘Robot Chipa’, ‘StoneBoy’, ‘Let’s Play With Boomchiki Boom’ and ‘Takat The Dog’.
At Edebé Audiovisual Licensing, we not only manage TV and film rights, but also handle the marketing of all ancillary products. In 2008, we incorporated a Licensing department, where we offer the representation of different properties in a wide range of categories such as lifestyle & design, brands, sports, classic & retro characters: ‘Dakar’, ‘Dr.Slump’, ‘Charuca’, ‘Calimero’, ‘Buff’, ‘Angel’s Friends’, etc.
Our main goal is to build branded entertainment through our licensing portfolio, so we choose only those properties which inspire our team and drive our motivation higher.
