I have just returned from my annual trip to Norway to shoot the Northern Lights. This year I used a Sony PMW-350 with a NanoFlash and they performed superbly, which was just well as this year we were clouded out for all but 2 nights and even then there was a thin layer of cloud making the Aurora dim and diffuse. One of these days I'm going to get the funds together to go and spend a month up in Norway during the winter and really make a go of shooting…

From Arctic Norway to the Arizona deserts I have been building up a collection of some of natures most dramatic events. The Northern Light, Tornadoes, Hurricanes are all included in this clip. I hope you enjpy it! I used Sony XDCAM EX1, EX3 and XDCAM HD cameras and travelled to Norway, Iceland, The Mid-West, Arizona and Florida. I flew over 30,000…

As part of the elemental project we decided to explore Iceland, it's glaciers, geysers and of course the Northern Lights. All shot in 3D using a pair of XDCAM EX's

The cover makes it difficult to see the zoom, iris and focus settings. It also has a tendency…

This is a compilation of some footage shot during a shake down of a new ruggedised and ultra portable stereoscopic camera rig. The footage was shot in the Black Mountains of Wales and on the Welsh coast near Porthcawl. The camera rig uses a pair of XDCAM EX cameras in a side by side configuration and allows for very quick setup and easy toe-in (convergence) adjustment plus the convergence can be slaved to the focus. This year I will be using this…
