The Church is in a state of emergency considering our lukewarm condition. We feel a sense of urgency to call the Church to continue the full ministry of Jesus. The Lord commissioned his direct disciples to do what they saw him doing in every way. We believe the present Church has the same commission and we are boldly exhorting all Christians to rise up in this dark hour.
Jesus told a parable to His disciples in Matthew chapter 20. He talked about a landowner who hired laborers to work in his field. The man went out at four different times to hire people, the last being “the 11th Hour.”
Matthew 20:6-7 - About the eleventh hour he went out and found still others standing around and asked them ‘Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’ ‘Because nobody has hired us,’ they answered.
Those who were hired had been sitting around all day without being offered work. I believe there are many who are waiting to be offered purpose and an opportunity to do something significant for the Lord - to be his laborer. Jesus said “the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” 11th Hour Ministries is committed to train people into a lifestyle of ministry where the common believer will do uncommon things as they represent Jesus.
