As a recording artist in 2001, Elizabeth Anne started her own music publishing company, FunkyButtMonkeeMusic, INC. Soon afterward she became involved in the local cultural music scene, and developed interest in documenting footage of what she witnessed. In 2003, she produced her first short-film documentary, “Writes of Passage”. The notoriety gained from the film convinced her to incorporate multi-media production to her company in 2004. From that point, Elizabeth has shot and edited performance footage, corporate videos, demo reels and self-produced videos. Over the last six years, she have screened 37 short-films in local venues (DMAC, Enzian, FL Music Fest, Flicks on Fairbanks) as well a feature at the Hip-Hop Odyssey International Film Fest in New York. In 2007 she received the “FL Music Fest Special Jury Award - Music Video” for the Solillaquists of Sound’s “Property And Malt Liquor”. In 2009, she was awarded the United Arts of Central Florida Professional Development Grant, for her self-produced music video, “The Hook”.
