Ellen Lake Plus
Ellen Lake received her MFA from Mills College in Oakland, California in 2002, where she studied sculpture, film & video, and installation. She is the recipient of a 2012 Experimental Media Arts Lab Residency Award at Stanford University, 2009 Sarah Jacobson Film Grant and 2005/2006 Bay Area Video Coalition’s Mediamaker Award. She is currently working on a body of work combining cell phone and digital media with 16 mm films from the 1930s and 40s.
