Eloquor
Like the glow of the city streets, Melbourne’s Eloquor (a Latin word meaning ‘to express oneself’ and pronounced ‘Ell-o-Core’) is the amalgamation of a spiritual soul with the battered underground. A talented lyricist and memorable performer, Eloquor’s pedigree is built upon his responsibilities of being a hip hop poet devoted to uplifting the community and a teacher to those less privileged.
Eloquor has been rubbing shoulders with Aussie hip hop elite and musically translating his life experiences for years. He was first inspired to create Hip Hop when he heard Eazy E’s ‘Eazy Duz It’ in 1988, going on to write his first rhyme in eighth grade.
Having received praise from ARIA awarding Koolism member and presenter of Triple J’s Hip Hop show, Hau Latukefu who said “Eloquor has a knack for story telling, he also has a lot of passion”, there is no doubt the word is already out about this talented artist on the rise.
