Emma originally trained as an actress in the early 90’s but a chance introduction to editing shortly led her swiftly and passionately into post-production.
She began as a runner for a number of facility and post houses in Soho, London. Eventually getting a foot in the door as editing assistant for various TV productions at Suite Post Production including The Office, Lenny Henry Show, The Smoking Room and Extras to name a few.
Emma has worked with Maeve Films and has edited all three feature films, Gypo, Ruby Blue and The Calling and award winning professional short films, including My Mother (LIFF Best Short Film).
She continues to work as a freelance editor has edited other independent feature films and over 30 short films.
Also about to start editing Award winning director David Witney's short film working title The Line of Freedom
Emma also over sees all the post production editorial work for uScreen, an initiative created by Screen South for young, deaf and disabled children to make films alongside able-bodied young people and is a director of the charity KENT FILM FOUNDATION educating disenfranchised youth through film.
