Ethiopian Orphan Relief, Inc.
Ethiopian Orphan Relief, Inc. (EOR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that works to improve the living conditions and lives of Ethiopian orphans remaining in Ethiopia by working with Ethiopian orphanages and adoption agency care houses to provide supplies, infrastructure and experiences. We seek to intervene early in the orphanage experience to make this often difficult transition as smooth as possible, and to keep the children as physically and emotionally healthy as possible.
There are more than 3.8 million orphans in Ethiopia, and in 2006 only 731 were adopted in the United States. The need for EOR's programs is vast, and we are committed to expanding our programs to help as many children as possible.
