Electronic Resources & Libraries or ER&L is a meeting and effort to increase communication and collaboration of information professionals who managing electronic resources. We supports cross-pollination of ideas inside and outside of librarianship to support our mission.
Our mission is to bring together information professionals from libraries and related industries to improve the way we collect, manage, maintain, and make accessible electronic resources in an ever-changing online environment.
Founded by Bonnie Tijerina (Harvard Library) about 10 years ago, ER&L serves as a dynamic and forward thinking place to take on library's challenges in the digital world. Bonnie is also the founder of an effort to cross pollinate library ideas and the best and brightest from SXSW Interactive in an effort called the #ideadrop house.
