About The Photographer

For those of you who have not met Erik Olsen, you may see him ringside at the horse shows, or running along with horses in the fox hunt field waiting to capture that perfect moment.

As a native from Germany, Erik began learning about photography at a very early age. His father would often allow him to play with his still and home movie cameras. As a result, Erik then would translate his childhood past time into a career as a television news photojournalist.

Over the years, Erik continued as an amateur photographer, which he then transformed into a business. His passion is his profession and each photo he takes is a testament to his undying artistic commitment.

His lifelong devotion to the knowledge of cutting edge technology is evident by his exemplary action photography and videography. Assisted by the use of the latest digital pro cameras and computers, Erik captures the essence of the moment. He has an innate artistic sense of balance, color and perspective which is evident in his juried fine art works available for your collection and investment.

Today, Erik is blessed to follow his given passion and pursue what he loves for a living, Horse Sports Photography. Illustrating the bond between horse and rider, that is as authentic as it is powerful.
