Estelle Ihász is an emerging visual artist based in Melbourne, Australia with a background in photomedia, installation, design and web publishing.
She is currently a PhD candidate at at the School of Art, College of Arts and Social Sciences, ANU undertaking practice-led research in Visual Art . The research project aims to examine philosophies of being/experience and experimental work processes within the context of photographic darkroom practice. Other research interests include Augmented Reality (AR) mobile application development as applied to the Visual Arts. Estelle Ihász has exhibited widely throughout artist-run spaces in Australia. She graduated from the Victoria College of Arts, University of Melbourne with a Masters of Visual Art in 2006, as well holding postgraduate qualifications in Design and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from the School of Art, ANU.
