The idea of time is a terribly important subject to me. Time is the space between conception and final output that is often left behind closed doors. It is through the portrayal of time that I endeavor to extend an invitation to the viewer to participate and engage as I give a voice to the traditionally silent. It is my intent to emulate the work of a good musician or dancer who enraptures the public in the emotions and moods of a performance, evoking introspective thought. The core of my desire to share this work is to create a public space which elicits a self driven desire to contemplate an individual’s true self and truth as a solid concept. So often we are forced to consume divisive, deceitful media on a vastly inappropriate level. My work develops a mental space in which the viewer can break away from brainwash culture and confront the quiet questions from within.
