משפחה חדשה הוא הארגון הראשון והיחיד בישראל, הנותן שירות ומענה לכל השאלות בתחום דיני המשפחה וכל זאת תחת קורת גג אחת. הארגון פועל כמלכ"ר באמצעות עורכי-דין, כלכלנים אנשי חינוך ומדעי ההתנהגות.

New Family was founded in 1998 by Advocate Irit Rosenblum, a family lawyer, who was the first to observe the absence of a legal definition of family in Israeli law. Mrs. Rosenblum gathered 30 lawyers to change the lives of the nearly 2 million families living without the recognition and protection of the law. The first step of the new initiative was lobbying for legislative change in policy towards family rights and correcting inequalities stemming from religious jurisdiction over personal status in Israel.
