Fazeelat Aslam is a documentary filmmaker, freelance journalist and human rights activist who most recently worked as a producer on Academy Award winning documentary short, "Saving Face". She holds a degree from Wellesley College in Media Studies and Gender studies. After college she began her career as an anchor and producer for national news channels in Pakistan. Since then she has worked on several documentaries for international organizations such as PBS Frontline, Channel 4 UK, Al Jazeera and HBO. In the past few years, pieces she has worked on have garnered honours including The Alfred I. Dupont Award, the 2010 International Emmy.
