Frome Community College began its Media Arts Specialism in 2002. Since then, our students, the Frome Community Learning Partnership (fromeclp.org.uk/) and the people of Frome have generated a useful, varied body of work which has stimulated and enhanced the learning of all involved.

Led by a dedicated Community Officer (Howard Vause), our media arts outreach projects support local people - schools, artists, businesses, interest groups, voluntary and youth organisations - to use digital media to enhance their activities and lives.

Whether the focus is fact or fantasy, arts or science, this work makes use of a huge range of technology and media forms including live action video (drama, documentary etc.), animation (Stop Motion and Flash), music technology and audio.
