Few Quiet People is a Polish independent label founded in 2009 by Wojciech Krasowski, Maciej Nejman and Cezary Rudaś. Based in two cities, Lublin and Gdańsk, FQP is, for Krasowski and Nejman, a space where music and design coalesce in a futuristic way. The label very quickly gained critical recognition. Features in German music magazine "Beat" and a thumbs-up from the British radio station Radio Fluid garnered FQP fans around the world. Few Quiet People associated artists appeared at key festivals in 2009, 2010, and 2011, taking in Unsound Festival, Plateaux Festival, Festival Off, Tauron NowaMuzyka in Poland; and further afield in Lithuania (Jauna Muzika), Spain (Intr: Muros), Russia (Alt + E), UK and China. "We do not rule out the possibility that some day FQP will be decide to release a special series of minimal techno; again, we are fans," says co-founder Maciej Nejman. "Experimental music coupled with the spirit of modern times, this is what interests us. We do not want to become the next net-label similar to hundreds of others scattered over the network. Our goal is to promote young and brave artists not only from the fields of music, but also video, and design in its broadest sense." says Wojciech Krasowski.
