KAI HATTERMAN - DIRECTOR and MOTIONDESIGNER
Kai Hattermann was born in Southern Germany in 1976.
After a design internship he completed his studies at the KISD – The International School of Design in Cologne. From this point forward he followed his three passions:
fimmaking, motion design, and travel.
Living in cities such as Barcelona, Cusco, La Paz, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, he produced several award-winning motion design and video-art projects over the past 9 years.
Kai’s full spectrum of work includes commercials, music videos and fashion films, virals and comedic shorts, as well as image films and artist portraits.
Always commited to social projects, he has documented the Amazon Indians, the homeless in São Paulo and the Pantal wildlife, as well as life in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro.
His unique aesthetic and his ability to combine humor with tragedy make him
one-of-a-kind as a director.
Kai Hattermann lives in Berlin and São Paulo.
