Five Stones Church commented on Video replacement has failed 3x in the Forums I reexported from Final Cut Pro 7 the video (minus the black), compressed it and replaced the video file using Chrome and it was successful this time. I don't know why my trim in QT Pro wouldn't work but now I know.

yes, I made the edit (trim) in QT Pro and saved a self-contained QT. The run time of the file changed so I figured it took the trim. I'm recompressing (exporting) it now and will repost and see if that fixes things.

Did you make this change in Quicktime by any chance? Please note you have to re-compress the file back out of whatever you're using to edit it, simply saving the file will not work.
