Sandy Chase is the owner and executive producer of Fluid Film in New York City.

Sandy studied Mechanical Engineering and Biomechanics at Duke University. He has worked in a number of creative media settings, including the Hollywood film "Across the Universe" with director Julie Taymor, at Tapestry International on Discovery Education media, and ScienCentral under a National Science Foundation grant, writing and producing science stories for ABC News stations across the country.

Sandy has played on-camera host for two science productions, "Science Sensei," a humorous web-based weekly science roundup, and "Physics in Action," a DVD and web video series for Chelsea House publishers.

In 2012, he launched a new website with original videos about the science of cinematography called The Light Journal. TheLightJournal.com
