Edoardo Cicchetti is photographer, editor and director. He lives and works in Rome.
As “Fluid Video Crew” team he realized about 50 documentaries awarded in major national and international festivals. In 2003 Fluid Video Crew participates at the 63th Venice film festival with an experimental work, “Italian Sud Est”.
Edoardo is also active in contemporary art, exhibiting both video and photographic works in several Italian museums (such as Pecci museum, contemporary Roman art museum) and in different national and international art galleries. In 2009 and 2010 he exposes his work during the “Miami Art Basel”.

Edoardo collaborates with different TV channels such as “Rai Storia” raistoria.rai.it , a National Italian Television, where he is in charge of the Timelapse sector from 2006. He realized several Timelapses for movies, documentaries, videoclip and tv spots. In 2010 he was the director of the photography for the “UGF Unipol Bank” spots, which were entirely shot through the Tilt-Shift technique.

What Edoardo mostly loves about his work is the possibility of melting with what he is shooting. Becoming part of that place, whatever it is. Loving loneliness and being patience are fundamental requisites necessary to realize his works. Patience is the time required for Timelapse to exist; contemplation is the right dose of love; melting with the landscape is a need.

“Realizing timelapse gives me the impression of traveling into time, and to have a privileged eye on the world. Through time manipulation it allows me to have a personal point of view on the existence. Timelapse is like taking off a veil from the world: it reveals the invisible, the sense of the everyday acts, the movement of the light, the magic of the existence, the pulse of life”.
