I purchased a gaui quad after seeing this video.

It's far from mastered. I've found the trick is shooting at 60fps and slowing it to 30 fps in post. That really stabilizes the footage. I still have a nervous feeling when it gets up in the air.

I purchased the Gaui 330xs kit: (gyro,radio,motors,wiring, and quad frame. You have to assemble it but it comes with a gyro stabilizer GU-344. It will just hover and flies like a humming bird. I'm happy with it. I had never flown anything in my life. My videos will get better. I only had the thing for 3 days when I shot the video. Eventually I'll get a lot better with a little practice.

I use the Xpro camera mount. I hacked off about 80% of it though. I used the piece that mounts to the Gaui base and drilled the small piece of aluminum that comes with it.
The entire landing base I chopped off and I use the U curved Gaui landing gear. The camera actually sits in the outside center of the X Gaui frame.

I chopped it to save on weight / battery flying time.
