Focused on strategic leadership and engaging, creative teaching, Jon is passionate about building a movement of changed lives. His heart is in the local church where he has invested over 11 years of full-time pastoral ministry while also traveling the country speaking at conferences and retreats through The Source for Youth Ministry.

For more than 11 years Jon served on the senior leadership teams of NewSpring Church (Anderson, SC) and Catalyst Church (Kent, OH). He's also a past member of the Acts 29 Church Planting Network. Prior to that Jon was part of the Chicago improv-comedy scene, studying under Tina Fey (NBC's 30 Rock) and Dr. Martin de Maat (The Second City).

Married 13 years to his high school sweetheart, Jon and his wife, Amber, reside in east Michigan with their young son, Josiah, plus Juliet the Wonder Pug and Slinky the Wiener Dog.
