Hi,
I'm not sure if I am right in this forum. The first post "API support in the forums no longer provided" made me insecure.
However, here's my problem:
I try to upload videos with Perl and already got stuck with the login. The API documentation didn't help me as I couldn't find any information about the login process. I only see what I can do AFTER beeing logged in.
When I try the vimeo.test.login (or any other function) in the playground it tells me that the OAuth 1.0 Base String is
"GET&http%3A%2F2Fvimeo.com%2Fapi%2Frest%2Fv2&format%3Djson%26method%3Dvimeo.test.login%26oauth_consumer_key%3Dc1f5add1d34817a6775d10b3f6821268%26oauth_nonce%3Db815930acceb0d750f08295d9c136256%26oauth_signature_method%3DHMAC-SHA1%26oauth_timestamp%3D1355061680%26oauth_version%3D1.0"
What does that mean? It's all pretty confusing to me.
So my first question is: How to get an auth token with perl?
If any of you could give me a hint or link where to start I would be thankful.
Regards,
Paul Sommer
