On your home (USER/clips) where it shows a clip it would be cool if it said :

Total views: # | Total digs: # | # comments

ok! Anyone else have thoughts on digs? I got the idea from digg.com, a tech news site, and it seems to work well on Vimeo so far.

Also, could we have a section within our accounts that can save the URLs of our favourite clips? So you go to somebody's clip, decide you like and and click "add to 'your favourite clips'" or something like that? It'd be sort of like vimeo.com/favorites, only more personal. Or is that already a feature? Look, I don't even know.

Bec, that feature is right underneath each video clip! I'm sorry it's not more obvious.

i'm confused, is there a difference between 'favoriting' a clip and 'digging' it? i click on a clip in my favorites, but i don't show up as someone who digs it.

the clip in question:

vimeo.com/clip=21153

i guess they are two separate designations

"Your Clips that People are Digging" would be a great feature.

I second the "Your clips that people are digging" feature.

And now that it's been mentioned, what *is* the difference between favoriting a clip and digging a clip? Is there any distinguishment to be made, or could the two be merged?

They're functionally the same thing, but I think of digging as more casual. I put a lot of weight behind declaring something a "favorite", whereas I give out digs to basically anything that seems good.

How do you feel about that?
