There is a bug in the current version of Chrome that is affecting some hardware setups on Windows 7 and 8, which causes videos not to load and users to see an error message, "Oops! Something broke. Please try again later!". We have reported this defect to the Chrome developers for them to take a look and to hopefully resolve in an upcoming release.

While we track the bug with Chrome, there are two possible workarounds:

1. Switch to Flash player in Chrome (vimeo.com/help/faq/using_the_vimeo_website#switch_player)

2. Disable hardware-accelerated video decoding in Chrome by following the steps below.

- Open your Chrome browser and type the following in the URL bar: chrome://flags
- Then, scroll down until you see the setting "Disable hard-ware accelerated video decode."
- Look for the button that says "Enable" and click it so that it changes to "Disable."
- This should allow you to view Vimeo videos with the HTML5 player.
