    hi everyone!

    i uploaded this
    vimeo.com/5003645
vid today and although i followed all the guidelines it just doesnt look nice. all artefacted. when using the recommended data rate of 1800 kb/s it already looks crappy before uploading. the source material is 720x576. what can i do? i see so many not HD movies on here that look so much better.

in my despair i even scaled my video up to 1024x720 and tried to upload it as a "fake" HD movie. but no gain from that either.

    thanks for helping me!

That looks pretty good to me, but try searching and posting in the forum here for some ideas on how to boost image quality- vimeo.com/forum:cameras_and_editing

I also think your video looks fine. I have real problems with mine there is a huge difference between what I get when I play my video just after export it (using quicktime) and what comes from vimeo. Any suggestion?
