We're having some problems. Trust me, we're working really hard to get them fixed. It's frustrating for us, too.
My other video pages on Vimeo are working fine - just 5000311 has this problem.

Hope they get it worked out and would love it Vimeo ever got the kinks out of whatever it is that makes it one of the slowest sites I visit on a daily basis.

Any more info than 'technial issues' would be nice. That's not really all that informative. Some steer on what the issue is, what is being done and how soon we can expect some kind of resolution would be helpful.

I don't understand how over 9 hours to upload seems reasonable to Vimeo!?
Has there just been problems yesterday and today?
...ok, so videos uploaded an hour ago are already visible, yet videos from 9 hours ago are still converting.
What is happening here? Should I reload these videos?
I hear you. From our side, we have to balance the cost of running a huge site (mostly for free) with the realities that come along with serving millions of videos. If you are unhappy with the wait time, the alternative to help support our business with a Plus membership will not only remove the wait time, its also gives you all sorts of awesome features that you will probably find useful as a filmmaker. Just wanted to let you know where we're coming from.
Don't get me wrong, it's probably inevitable that I'm upgrading to Plus, I just found wait times of several hours a little bit too much to digest. Fine, a standard 30 minute wait I can handle, but 2hrs 20mins? Anyway, good luck with restoring business as usual.
