So I run a side business flogging t-shirts and funny gift items at filmmakers. But as a filmmaker myself, I want to be able to use this evil corporate enterprise to help worthy folks get a few more eyeballs in front of their projects.

That's why I've recently launched Sunday Shorts Showcase at MovieMakerMerch. Every Sunday we'll pick an online short or two (or more) that we dig, and write a few words about them on our Facebook page, post links, all that jazz.

All you've gotta do is hit up our Facebook page:
    facebook.com/pages/MovieMakerMerch/94642968777
and post a link on our Wall. I'll check it out, and if I like it, I'll type about it. Then all my adoring fans will read about your film, click the link, watch your wonderful creation, and shower you with love and adulation.

The worst that happens is I don't feature your film (or I do but no one cares) and you've wasted fifteen seconds of your valuable time.

Since Vimeo is clearly a decent place to find people with shorts online I figured it was a decent starting-out point.

    Rules and regulations:
    - No purchase necessary.
    - Looking for projects of 30 minutes or less.
    - Looking for short films of the sort that might play at film festivals, not necessarily 'Web comedy' / skits / YouTube silliness / videos of your cat.
    - Yes, you have to post a link on the Facebook wall to submit your film. That's how we roll.

I look forward to seeing and promoting your films!

    One little ol' bump!

We've been showcasing projects (including lots of Vimeo pieces found through this thread) for about twelve weeks now but my pile is beginning to run dry. Read the above post to find out how to submit your film!
