TROUBLE SHOOTING YOURSELF: PLEASE READ!!!!
1. First make sure you can view videos on Vimeo. If you can't, make sure you update your browser and your flash here: vimeo.com/help/flash
2. Make sure you have reviewed the recommended setting here:

3. Take a deep breath
4. Try out the basic uploader: vimeo.com/upload/video/basic
5. Try our desktop uploader, especially for large files over 1GB: vimeo.com/desktopuploader
6. Try not to have too much going on in other tabs or browsers as long files tend to get hung up if there is too much other activity.
7. Please turn off any virus protection or ad block, or energy saving settings!!
8. If, when uploading, the progress bar jumps to 99% or 100% right away, or freezes on certain percentages, try the basic uploader above and make sure the file name doesn't have any spaces or symbols in it.
9. If your video gets stuck in the 'Holding Pattern' please be patient, it means it failed to convert once and we will try again, it may just take a while. If you need the video to be converted immediately, please delete that video and try uploading again.
And yes we did try the desktop uploader several times. It completes the upload then sticks at 99%, so we successfully uploaded using the browser, but the system won't display the video.
We'll try chopping the file into 10 minute segments.

Yes, I've followed the above guidelines. I upload .3gp files with recommended compression settings, using both the basic and desktop upload. same issue. thanks.
I'm only get the vimeo color bars as the thumbnail?
Finally got my video clip to load, but thumbnail is a series of vertical coloured bars.
Any way you can fix this?

I'm working on a student film and purchased a Vimeo Plus account for all of my crew to access so we can share shots in progress, rough edits, and references. I have also made all of our videos private, as I want the communicative forum my crew and I share to be private. However, it appears that when I'm logged into the account, no other users are able to log in as well, and are met with a message at log in saying something similar to "Username and password do not match." I myself even tried to log into our Vimeo account from two separate browsers, and was only able to access it on one.
Is is impossible for more than one computer to log into the same Vimeo account at once, or is there another issue that is preventing us from acessing our Vimeo account at the same time, from different computers?

I've also reuploaded the video (vimeo.com/7708845) hoping for some type of result for our audience and it has now been stuck on "The video will start converting in a moment." It's been well over an hour now and the conversion hasn't begun.
I have noticed that many of the blogs out there are embedding my video CANON - Freeze Tag:

...however, when they embed, it doesn't play on their site (just stays on black screen)...they have to click on the Vimeo link or the title to view it on Vimeo.com.
I have already looked at my embed options and cannot figure out what is wrong. I have tried on plenty of machines Macs and PCs.

and when i try to upload a video i always have the "Upload in progress. Please wait…" message , never ending and i've tried the basic uploader also,there is no progress bar and i don't get these changes. i am working on your site long time now and i have also payed for a premium account and it seems it's getting worse since then. why so?

Dont really see the point taking videos if I know I cant share them with others.
