The Staff will always try their best to answer questions in this Forum, but we are human, and do need to rest sometimes, so we also rely on the helpful Community (you!) to help answer each other's questions as well.

    Hello, I've got a vimeo plus account.
    I've tried to upload a (.avi video 1.64 gig) for 2 times now.
    When it says finished uploading go to video, I'll click and get the message
    This video is still being uploaded.
    Could someone please tell me how long it takes before I can see my video. Or is there something going wrong?
    I've tried this 2 times, but i still have the 5 gig upload space left
    Please let me know

    your uploads are failing because the file is over the 1GB limit. vimeo.com/help/faq#maximum_length

    Similar problem here...also the bulk uploader is so slow as to be useless. I'm on a very fast pipe as well.
    My most recent upload has hung on 'finishing please wait'...had the same problem yesterday evening.

    i've noticed that you are using chrome. this browser is not very well supported yet. can you try uploading from another browser and see if that helps? also, what are the file sizes of videos you are trying to upload?

    Having problems in IE as well...with the flash uploader the file uploads in seconds (which it shouldn't...) and then hangs on 'finishing video'...it's doing it on xp and windows 7 64bit. the basic uploader goes fast at first, then hangs for awhile and then continues. i've uploaded over 200 videos to vimeo so I have a pretty good idea of what normal looks like ; )

    I uploaded a file yesterday (1.66M) and it still says 'this file is still being uploaded'. Even YouTube doesn't take 24 hours to process a video to flash. have i done something wrong?
