So we've been toying with hosting some sort of meet-up for a long time now and we think its about time to make it a reality. Users Victoria and HannahMai are planning a roadtrip across the US to visit fellow Vimians and we're thinking that we should coincide our Meet-Up with the beginning of their trip here in NYC.
So, we're not exactly sure whats going to happen, but we are very keen on getting everyone together who can make it. We'll definitely be planning some sort of party/office visit/group video project among other activities, and we're hoping as many of you can join in the fun.
The tentative date for this shindig will be June 27th but we'll let you know as dates solidify.
People get ready! This should be rad.

i was thinking, if you wanted this to be REALLY BIG, it would be good to make a video, because i think that would reach more people. i can't tell for sure, but i do have the impression that not a big percentage of vimeo users visit the forums, especially now when it is kind of hidden in the help section. but you probably know those things better than me... ;)
for me personally, it does not need to be super huge, i would always prefer a more personal meet up, but i guess something huge could also be fun.
it is just about what you imagine this to be like.

Seriously though...I'd love to come but cant make it up there in time. I'll be looking for videos after the fact. Hopefully, SOMEBODY will have remembered to bring their camera and can post it on here soon after. Have fun guys!
