    I guess there is no way to convince anyone to let me post it? Heck, I would even let them take away my 500mb limit the next week!

    Think I have any shot at it?

    I agree, there should be like a choice if you'd rather sacrifice your next week's space.

    Just re-encode your video at a slightly smaller data rate. 10-50kbps should do it (depending on the length of your video) and you should lose virtually zero visual quality.

    I had the same problem once, you'd think you could get away with it, but nope, Vimeo knows when the video is 499MB and when it is 501MB, maybe even 500.01MB. I just had to edit it again, and take out a few seconds of the video.

    Yeah, that stinks. I just hate to have to re-encode the video. It is like 10 min long and in HD so it takes FOREVER. Oh well. Thanks for the replies!!!

    there is a way I was watching a clip on utube when I was researching video editing using windows movie maker you may lose abit of quality but not all that much utube it under video editing or windows movie maker the guy who made it look so easy I would paste the link but not sure if this is allowed any way good luck I've only been in vimeo 4 days and find this site awsome 500 mb eploads that rocks man
