I'm developing a community video interview project I call the "Taiwan 5 Precious Things" Project.

For this project I go around interviewing people in Taiwan. Each interview is a short (approx 5 min) guided conversation after they do a brainstorm of 5 things (people, places, events, ...whatever comes to mind) they love about Taiwan and would like more people to know about. The video starts with them reading their list. Then I lead them in a conversation that gives them a chance to really appreciate what's going on now in Taiwan and make wishes for Taiwan's future, following from their original list. The video will have a style that's simple, intelligent, engaging and easy for others to follow, in case others are stimulated to contribute to this project.

I need a partner in Taiwan -- North Taiwan -- to do this, a video person. That'd be someone interested in this project (that's first) who has the equipment and skills to film and edit with solid quality. Is this you? Maybe it's someone you know.

Right up front let me say at the moment this is a zero budget project. You'd be doing it for the fun and satisfaction of it (just like me). Of course, if you KNOW someone who'd like to sponsor this project, point me at them. In that case I'd ad a connected web site where people could easily share and comment on "things" that are great about Taiwan. That's another conversation. A few demo interviews would help such a proposal, too.

Organize your project

We recommend starting a Group for projects so users can collaborate and see all the videos in one place.
