I just started a new channel for green/blue screen, or any type of keying. I want to see other people's work with this great medium.

    vimeo.com/keying

Also, I'd like to see how-to videos for green/blue screen. Almost everybody I meet who wants advice on filmmaking asks about green/blue screen. It's a hot topic for beginners, and I want a place that I can point them to.

I went ahead and added one of my videos as an example. Unfortunately, I did that video back in 2006 and my keying skills weren't too great. So post your green/blue screen videos and top mine. I don't care, in fact, I want to see some great keys!

Oh, and I'm looking for a cool header, too.

Check out this video called "sometimes"

    vimeo.com/920603

The video for "Sometimes" was shot and edited early in 2007. It features a mix of live video, animation and green screen footage. Originally the idea was to use "real dancers" but there were concerns from the dancers about performing on two roundabouts. Also it can be rather cold in February! The idea progressed in to a story board, then a photo shoot for the locations, followed by a green screen shot. All I needed was the dancers. By chance I read a review of a program called Poser and several weeks later I had virtual actors and performers as well as a finished video.

i guess my question is, what happens after the green screen comes? essentially, how do you edit it into your movies?

Basically, you key the green screen, and then layer it on top of something else. You'd need an editing package that it capable of working with layers and keying.

Sorry if that doesn't answer your question. It's really hard to write a description of how to edit green screen footage into your movies. That's why I'm looking for videos about doing it.
