Change the "request video" to a "Chat wall" in the Vimeo Feature Requests Forum

I don't think the vimeo community as a whole actually requests videos from people enough to really have that be a useful thing on the page. What it REALLY needs imo is for that to be turned into kind of like a facebook wall where people would just leave quick comments saying hi and what not. Hell they can even leave a comment requesting a video! The thing is I've seen so many people's "request video" section be used for quick and convenient conversation but I haven't seen ONE person request a video using that.

I kind of agree with Thomas, it's a very specific task for a comment box that could definitely use a name change that might encourage more use that would also include requesting a video when that makes sense.

i've seen plenty of people requesting videos. we do not plan on offering facebook wall like feature on vimeo any time soon. i would encourage you to message people you want to contact. personally i've always felt wall or shoutbox existed mainly for the sake of people who want to see their postings appear on someone else's page. this does not quite align with what we have in mind for vimeo profile page.
