Hi,
since yesterday I am a pro member. So I was uploading several HD videos at the same time. But what I see on screen is SD. What went wrong? That rule of one HD a week is not for pro members? Point is that I need to work fast and I need a series of HD videos on vimeo.

I'm seeing the HD option on your recent videos, like this one: vimeo.com/52745137
You can toggle between the SD and HD versions by clicking the "HD" button on the bottom of the player.

I exported it exactly they way it's written in the Vimeo compression settings, including HD - 720p, But for some reason I have no HD button and video is shown on SD only...

Hey there, I've got the same issue on my video : vimeo.com/52909746 , and it won't even play in SD it just shows a black screen. I uploaded a 1080p video but it has been converted to 720p during the process i believe.

The weird thing is that I know for sure that my upload just went fine and there was an HD version and then it ended like this, I can't even watch it in SD i don't know about you, anyway thanks for your help!!

Hi Jose, as a Basic user, you can only upload one HD video per week. You'll have to re-upload that video when your quota resets for us to encode it to HD.

Hey guys, same problem with my video. I uploaded an HD-Video yesterday as Basic Member, it didn't convert to HD so I reuploaded it tonight because i thought there was something wrong with my video. Now i'm reading, I can only upload one HD-video per week?! So what will happen now? Won't it convert to HD? Do i have to upload it again next week? Thanks in advance, cheers,

Hi Tim, as a basic member, you can only upload 1 HD video per week. Your quota will reset on Tuesday.

Hi I download my Video vimeo.com/53496008 but it is not shown in HD. I dont know the reason because the video was recorded in 1280x720p.
There is no HD logo at the bottom right of the window.
Please have a look on it and try to resolve the issue.

It's probably due to your odd compression settings. Please re-compress your video according to the settings we recommend

It says 50 frames per sec.
VIMEO recommends 30 fps. Do you think this should be the reason that HD didnt appear ?

You shouldn't be uploading 50fps, nor should you be uploading an AVI file. Please look at our recommended compression settings and follow them exactly.

I will upload it tomorrow. As Im BASIC user, hope that i still have my HD video upload available for this week !
In parrallel i deleted on my profile THIS IS NEPAL (the one which is not working in HD) but still i can count 12 videos instead of 11. The 12th is THIS IS NEPAL that should be deleted.

Still facing issue with this HD video.
I uploaded this morning the new video THIS IS NEPAL with 1280x720p, 30fps in .mp4.
Still there is no HD logo. Does it mean i have to delete my video and wait 1 week ?

Can't see it in HD, download link says (0x0 / 0B), but the site did encode the HD version. Apparently you can easily fix this issue. Thanks in advance, and not just for this. Vimeo is awesome :)

Having the same issue here: [fixed now, thanks :)]
The video was exported from Premiere Pro using the setting "Vimeo 1080p 23.9fps"
-The HD button is missing
-Computer playback is buggy
-Plays fine on iPhone

Andrew, I apologize for the confusion. The reason you have no HD video is because your original source file does not meet the minimum HD width of 1280px. Please check out our Compression Guidelines: vimeo.com/help/compression

The file that you uploaded to Vimeo is 640x272. You can check this for yourself by downloading the original file by clicking the "Download" button below the video, and selecting "Original .MOV file"

That clip is in HD on our end, are you still seeing otherwise? Can you try clearing the cache and cookies from your browser?

i've got some trouble with a video (vimeo.com/55183589), the uploading by FCX got no problem, but when i load the video, i've got the SD version, got a message at the bottom, your video will be covnert to HD, then go refresh your video has been converted in HD, but nothing, you clic on refresh or refresh firefox, no HD, and once i get the HD button in the frame, video don't load.
So what's wrong ? i uploaded 1st version of this video 1 hour before got to delete and reupload, but the reupload got some troubles, and i don't know how to fix it.

I'm having the same issue. Definitely uploaded in HD as I have numerous videos in the past, but there is no HD button now - there was earlier - but not now. And when I clicked to watch in HD it just showed a blank black screen. It will play fine in SD, but nothing in HD...
Any thoughts?
