Franceasca Seiden, Writer/Producer is the founder of 3GZ Productions, an independent film production company dedicated to making films inspired by generations of music and underground culture. She produced the award winning and internationally acclaimed feature documentary Darkbeat an Electro World Voyage, a futuristic educational film reliving the years when hip-hop emerged and transformed into international electro beats among short films she directed.
As co-creator of 3GZ Productions, Franceasca continues to serve as a consultant on numerous narrative films, music videos and documentaries. Receiving her MFA in Film Production from Miami International University of Art & Design and a BFA in Photography/ Art History from International Fine Arts College, she’s been showing her photographic and mixed media work in galleries for over a decade. Franceasca has worked with MTV, National Lampoon’s, and Universal Music and has been a writer/producer for FX Network and Current TV. She has contributed art and music reviews for DeathandTaxesMagazine and Popmatters.com. In 2008/2009 she began curating The Ultra Lounge showcasing experimental film during Ultra Music Festival. In 2009, she founded and curated the first edition “Independent Thinkers” a four-day multi - media event during Art Basel, that showcased the work of unrepresented visual artists and filmmakers in Miami, FL.
