Francesca Tilley-Gyado is Director of Film content at Africa Heritage Group. She studied Visual Anthropology at the Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology before going on to study Filmmaking in Los Angeles and Buenos Aires.
She is particularly interested in documentaries, stories of diaspora, Latin-America, displacement, nostalgia and the space between idealism and reality.
She is producer/director and writer of the award-winning short films "¡Viva Alvarez!" and "The Shoemaker & The Boy". Other film credits include production design and editing for over 90 short and feature length productions.
