Francesco D'Andrea works as soundtrack composer and sound designer for cartoons, videogames, movies and tv commercials.

He formed academically as a musician and composer at Saint Louis Music College of Roma, attending the Diploma in Guitar, Digital recording and Soundtrack scoring.

As Composer and Sound Designer:

Francesco crafts his musical works with both real and virtual instruments, high-quality sound VSTs controlled through a midi master keyboard and samplers.
He can produce scores into a wide array of sounds and genres with a constant professionalism and absolute care for any single project.

As performer:

Francesco began his musical carreer as session and stage player.
He broke in as guitarist, acoustic and electric, playing gigs with several rock bands, small and big clubs, making first "big deals" as a performer with the band Jeremy's Garden as lead guitar: in 2009 we partnered with Sony BMG and played promotional concerts for the imminent release of Pearl Jam's Ten album remastered in Deluxe Edition.
During his multy-year experience as stage and studio musician, he played different genres, from rock, pop, classic, jazz, funk, soul, blues...from duo to quartets, to open ensembles.
Francesco was born in Naples, Italy, and here he begins to study music at the age of 10.
He learns the first notions of solfege and begins to play flute and guitar as self-taught.
From the age of 14 he takes his first lessons of acoustic and classic guitar.
At the age of 17 he receives as a gift his first Fender electric guitar and starts to play with several rock bands in Naples. He records his first demos at home with a digital sampler.

At the age of 22, Francesco decides to make of music his profession. He finally moves to Roma to study intensively at Saint Louis Music College.
During the next five years he learns music theory, solfege, rythmic analysis, digital recording, and the principles of armony and composition.
He studies acoustic and electric guitar, and partecipates to many music clinics and master classes.
During these years, he starts his first works as composer and sound designer, and realizes that he likes it, he loves it, and that that's what he'll do for living.
