Freeman T. PORTER was a U.S. Army soldier from St. Louis, Missouri, with a suggestive first name. He landed on European soil during World War II.

This became the backdrop of a love affair that happened at a time that was anything but convenient for happy endings. The American soldier fell in love with a young German woman and fathered the son who will pay tribute to him several decades later...

Indeed, a German-American designer decided in 1993 to name the street wear clothing collection he had just created after his father, FREEMAN T. PORTER.

It goes without saying that our FREEMAN T. PORTER collections draw their inspiration from the universe of the 'Army'. We tweak them by adding more urban and contemporary themes.

Our 'Battle pants' and our jeans put us on the map. Our reputation for excellence in the cut of our pants is outstanding... and we have thousands of die-hard wearers of some of our leading models to prove it!

Our collections are inspired by the 'military' look, 'work wear' and 'university' style... our clothes are designed by a team of English, French, German and Italian designers, and capture the 'lifestyle' of several generations of 'kids in America'... where we've come back to our roots!

UNE MARQUE NÉE DE LA FIERTÉ D’UN FILS POUR SON PÈRE.

Originaire de Saint Louis dans le Missouri et soldat de l’US Army, le jeune FREEMAN T. PORTER, au prénom évocateur,
débarque sur les terres européennes au cours de la seconde guerre mondiale.

C’est dans ce contexte, pourtant peu propice aux belles histoires, qu’il tombera amoureux d’une jeune Allemande et donnera naissance à celui qui lui rendra hommage quelques décennies plus tard.

En effet, c’est en 1993, qu’un styliste germano-américain décide de donner le nom de son père, FREEMAN T. PORTER, à la collection
de vêtements «streetwear» qu’il vient de créer.

Les collections FREEMAN T. PORTER s’inspirent logiquement de l’univers «Army» et le réinterprète pour proposer des thèmes
de plus en plus urbains et contemporains.

Forte d’une solide expérience du «Battle pant» puis du denim, la marque se forge une réputation d’excellence en matière de coupes de pantalons. Et l’on compte par milliers les adeptes de certains modèles phares !
