I'm new to creating videos after spending the past 3 years teaching myself how to make audio podcasts. I got my first video camera, a Flip Video Ultra, in March 2008. Bear with me while I do some autodidacting here. I appreciate any feedback that will improve the quality of my storytelling.

Hi Dalas. I'm going to respectfully agree to disagree. I think it depends on your audience. Let's face it: the people here on Vimeo are creative, talented and expressive and I think their vid responses would only enhance the conversation. I've seen Viddler implemented as a commenting system on blogs and it's awesome. Check out a my recent Tumblr blog in which a guy made a video response (I had to amend the post because obviously Tumblr doesn't allow for comments in its default themes): http://tinyurl.com/5bfttf And if you still think my idea sucks, Dalas, I'm just going to have to crush your head! Crush! Crush! Crush!

It would be neat to have video comments. Sometimes I don't feel like typing.

That was cool. Somethings are meant for the moment and you got to experience that with her. You have a great artifact of that place in time to help you to remember. Let it go. It was meant to be.
