How much work went into shooting that short? Or rather not how much work, we know it was shot in twenty-four hours, but rather how much footage was shot to get those eight minutes? Generally speaking I know your kept footage to discarded footage ratio must be highly variable. The Frankie Gavin ratio can't be anywhere near the same ratio as shooting something like this, I would unhesitatingly suppose. But how much, how many hours, of footage did you shoot to get these eight minutes? Or can you get eight minutes of something like this by shooting less than an hour? Thanks in advance. P.S. As usual, edited as only a maestro can edit.

That's me smiling up at you in a pair of cheap black reading glasses on April 21st, 2008.
The next picture was taken in Oakland, CA. Mid July 1976. That's me in the center. A bright guy named Royal snapped the picture.
Next to that is a shot I took some ten or so days earlier of Royal standing on the corner of Broadway and Divisadero.
