Gabriel de Urioste is an American independent filmmaker based in New York City. Gabriel studied film and television production at New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts before working as a freelance filmmaker. His thesis film "The Sierra Project" was chosen to screen at the 2012 Seattle Sci-Fi and Fantasy Film Festival as well as the 2012 VISIONS Film Festival. Gabriel has also studied 35mm filmmaking in Prague, Czech Republic at the FAMU film school and directed a short narrative film "Get Your Dukes Up" there.
