Gaby Loria is a bilingual multi-platform journalist from Querétaro, Mexico.
She works for ABC News in New York City at NewsOne, the network's affiliate news service. Gaby regularly produces and edits stories downloaded by ABC stations across the country and international clients.
Prior to that she spent two years as a General Assignment reporter at KVIA-TV, the ABC affiliate in El Paso, Texas. She also served as the fill-in anchor for KVIA's Spanish-language news updates aired on Azteca TV.
Her career in news started at South Florida's CBS4, where she worked as an associate producer while attending the University of Miami. She graduated summa cum laude with degrees in broadcast journalism and Latin American studies.
Before graduating, she produced short documentaries in Bocas del Toro, Panama. Her work abroad was used in promotional materials for the University of Miami's Latin American Studies program and recognized by the National Broadcast Society and.
Gaby has also won NBS, AP, and SPJ awards for her news shooting and reporting. She is the first UM student to compete and place in the Hearst Awards National Championship.
