Joined June 2008
The GammaBlog is my personal project to document what I see. And what I see is mostly my neighborhood, the East Village and the Lower East Side of Manhattan. I document street performance, protests, street art, parades, gallery openings, etc.
I've also begun to mine my video documentations of past projects for anything that still amuses me. My earliest film experience was doing stop-motion animation as a teenager. Three of those 8mm films are here. For many years I constructed and played homemade musical instruments. And I've been in every Greenwich Village Halloween parade since 1978. If ever edited, there is some gold in these tapes.
I like Vimeo for its encoding quality, and clean interface.

Do you have a link for the Filmmakers Coop? What format would they want? -

6 days agoGammaBlog commented on Eddie's Big WindI'm not sure about doing part three, Maria. I was going to center it around a proposed garden event to distribute the toys for charity. But as far as I can tell, that is not happening. And just piecing together the footage I have is a bit thin. Maybe something will happen on the anniversary next year. Thanks for your kind comments.
