Who? -- Garrett Wishall: a follower of Christ who is learning more and more to live by faith in Him.
What? -- Church planting intern/church planting in training
Where? -- Summit Community Church in O'Fallon, Missouri, which is near St. Louis. Preparing to plant a church in the Denver, Colorado area.
Why? -- Because Christ died so that people might live in right relationship with God. This brings God the glory He deserves and people the greatest joy they can have.
How? -- That's why I am an intern!!! In seriousness, church planting will take place by genuinely caring for people and acting on that. Developing relationships in a neighborhood, through sports leagues, at community events; following Christ myself and training others to do the same.

Laura Hanschu and I got married in June 2004 after graduating from College of the Ozarks in southwest Missouri. I earned a bachelor's degree in communications and philosophy and religion there. After a year of marriage, we moved to Louisville, Kentucky, where we spent five good years ministering at Ninth & O Baptist Church as I attended Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I graduated with a master of divinity in May 2010 and we moved to the St. Louis-area in August 2010.
