Gemma Riggs Plus
Gemma is a video and installation artist. Inspired very much by the heroes of early cinema, she uses film in a fluid and rhythmical way, exploiting the editing process to bring weird and wonderful results.
Her work in theatre and education has brought her to collaborate with organisations and artists including Battersea Arts Centre, the Barbican, Southbank Centre, Melanie Wilson, Oily Cart, Fuel and Shlomo.
Thriving off the immediacy of live events she has produced and mixed visuals for artists including Mos Def, Frankie Knuckles, DJ Krush, Bonobo and DJ Vadim at venues such as Koko, Cargo and the Big Chill House.
