Giardini Pensili

Roberto Paci Dalò is the director of the interdisciplinary performing arts group Giardini Pensili. The ensemble's work has a position all of its own in the international performing arts landscape and pop culture territories. It has developed an authentic theatrical language out of its background in sound and visual arts, which combines the spoken language with body, architectural elements, and an articulated work on acoustical and visual perception.
Among its projects, there are theatre pieces like “Animalie”, live cinema works like “Blue Stories”, net projects like “Cosmologie”, installations like “Sparks”, video-sound installationa like "Atlas of Emotion Stream", audio-video architectural performances like "Ordan karmir", radio and film works.

Giardini Pensili is today a performing arts company and a media lab. Amongst collaborations: Kronos Quartet, Scanner, Philip Jeck, Giorgio Agamben, Predrag Matvejevic', David Moss, Guido Guidi, Robert Lippok, Leonardo Sonnoli, Gabriele Frasca, Maurizio Cattelan, a.o.

Roberto Paci Dalò is composer/performer, director, and visual artist. He's the artistic director of Velvet Factory - a space for the arts (Rimini). He studied music and visual arts in Fiesole and Ravenna. He taught Media Dramaturgy at the University of Siena and collaborates with universities in UK, Canada, Denmark, Italy.
