My name is Glenn McGee Howle and I'm a part of the “2011“GT Academy”

Set to air as a reality show on “SPEED” channel this Fall, the GT Academy is a driver search program initiated by SONY/PlayStation & NISSAN, designed to take a gamer from the hugely popular Gran Turismo driving simulator series on the PlayStation 3 gaming console & turn him into a fully trained, real-life racing driver.

I have battled my way through several Time Trails on SONY PS3's Gran Turismo 5 Simulator against more than 53,000 entries from around the Nation, then went head-to head against the nations top 32 during the National Finals in Orlando, Florida. Now apart of the U.S. “top 16” I will be departing May 27th to the famous Silverstone Race track in England to compete in a grueling boot camp against my fellow countrymen, being judged on fitness, media awareness, and on track performance in both the highly nimble NISSAN 370z, & blazingly fast NISSAN GT-R .

The winner of the GT Academy will train for 7 months with SONY / NISSAN's professional racing team to earn an International Racing License, and go on to drive for NISSAN / SONY in a 24hour endurance race.
