The H16 takes both, but normally has a standard 16mm film gate, so even if you're shooting on single-perf ("Super 16" film), it will still only record a standard 16mm image.

Wow, a lot of snobs getting it wrong.

Many of the more recent film cameras have a video tap built in, but not the Bolex. You can, however, buy/rent a third-party video tap that fits over the eyepiece. It's not the best quality, but it does the job. Since it's film, you of course can't see the "final product" this way, but you can use it to monitor framing and make sure your actors hit their marks and stuff.
